One of my friends just defended her dissertation. Unfortunately I got so ill, that I was not able to participate neither at the defence nor party :(Still I have a gift for her: beaded wrist-warmers with guitar motive on it. That’s, because apart from being excellent researcher in HIV evolution field she is also playing guitar in the band.
